What is the retreat all about?

Life is a beautiful journey of ups and downs. While we enjoy the ups, many of us struggle with the downs most of the times. Sometimes, we are unable to understand why we are doing what we are doing. This retreat is the beginning of our journey of self-awareness, to understand our personality, our feelings, our motives and our desires. We will examine the "shoulds" in our lives and reframe them so that we have more choice. We will examine our old negative messages and the areas that we are not loving ourselves, and we will let them go. We will understand the messages from our physical bodies and shower love on our inner child. We will accept, acknowledge and let go of our anger, guilt and fear. We will understand the true meaning and therefore the power of forgiveness. We will discover that others carry pain, just like we do, and we can help each other heal. We will make the shift to creating a new reality in our lives by using affirmations to write our new story. 

The benefits of this workshop will continue to unfold over time. We have to consciously and consistently practice to change our old habits and our old neural pathways. If you want change in your life, then you are the one who must do the changing. When you change, then all the other people in your world will change in relation to you.

What are the tools and techniques used?

The primary methodology used is based on the Heal Your Life philosophy of the best selling author Louise Hay. We also infuse other techniques like art therapy, movies, forest walk and sound healing to facilitate the process of introspection and release.

What are the credentials of the facilitator?

Anamika is an internationally licensed Heal Your Life teacher, Neuro Linguistic Programming coach and a Reiki healer. An alumnus of IIM, Bangalore, Anamika is a graduate in Mathematics and a Post Graduate in Computer Technology. Anamika’s corporate career of 19 years includes stints in organizations like TCS, Deloitte & KPMG.

Anamika is a Cancer Thriver. She used her cancer journey as a springboard for personal development. Consciously and consistently she practiced the teachings of Louise Hay to transform her life. She now shares her learnings and experiences with those who are willing to make significant changes in their lives to be more joyful, 

Anamika’s life’s purpose is to put ‘Wellness’ on every one’s radar. She would like people to re-engage differently with whatever work they do: with a fresh and more positive attitude, with better health and higher energy levels, feeling truly valued. She wants to change the conversations around wellbeing to go beyond food, rest and exercise, to consider the thoughts we think and the emotions we feel.

Where is the retreat being conducted?

The retreat is conducted in the lovely location of The Hidden Oasis in Pune where there are huge expanses of greenery and a beautiful water body. The meals are home cooked by the women of the village. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Refer to https://www.thehiddenoasis.com/ to know more about the location. It is a wonderfully conducive location for the type of work we are doing in the retreat – emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing.

How does one reach the location?

There is a taxi service available from

We connect participants so that you can travel together and share the cost of travelling.

What is the pricing? What all does the pricing include?

The current pricing of the retreat is Rs 24,000 only, which is inclusive of the stay in double occupancy, 4 meals, tea and coffee, retreat material and handouts. And online support for 8 months. You also become a member of the Joyhamesha community to get daily inspirational messages and join short trips or longer journeys online, into the Self. We also have physical meetups in Mumbai every quarter. 

If you want a room on single occupancy, there will be an additional charge of Rs 5000.

What if I don’t want to share my thoughts, feelings or reflections?

While sharing is an integral part of the reflection & release process, and we stress on the need for confidentiality, we understand your apprehension. You can choose not to share unless you get comfortable with the group.

What is the duration of the retreat?

The retreat starts on Friday morning 10am and ends on Sunday afternoon. You should be able to leave by 4pm to avoid peak traffic on the highway. 

 

You will have to leave Mumbai at around 5am on Friday. From Pune you can decide to leave by 7am on Friday. Alternatively, you can decide on arriving on Thursday evening at an extra cost of Rs 2500 only.

I want to attend the retreat. But travel is a problem.

There is an online 10-week program that we offer whose content is the similar to that of the retreat. This is offered twice a year March-May and June-August. For the exact dates and to block your seat with an advance payment of Rs 5000 only, please WA Anamika @9769355585. The total cost of the 10 week journey is Rs 11,999. This includes a 2 hour online session every week, There may be some "homework" to be done during some weeks.

What follow-up do you provide?

Before you attend the retreat, you go through a comprehensive diagnostic on holistic wellbeing. The summary of your responses forms the baseline for the work during the retreat. Then every 3 months you can reflect on and record the various aspects of your wellbeing – physical, emotional, mental, relational and spiritual. This tracker will help you see your progress and take corrective action, if necessary.

Also, along with the participation certificate, we give you a workbook which will help you in furthering and consolidating your journey. We meet once a week with the group to facilitate this process. This online support is there for 3 months formally. You also become a member of the Joyhamesha community to get daily inspirational messages and join short trips or longer journeys online, into the Self. We also have physical meetups in Mumbai every quarter. The relationship is alive till Death do us apart. :-)
